Like the Hospital, we provide 5 star Homestay accommodation in the heart of the region. All Flatbush Holiday Accommodation Deluxe Double Rooms and Private suites are large rooms and they have their own private bathrooms so you can relax and feel at home before your surgery. There is a desk to place your laptop on if you need it, drawers & storage galore with a walk-in wardrobe where you can store your luggage and spread out all your personal items. You will have your own TV. The Bathroom features all the modern conveniences with heated towel rail, underfloor tile heating, large shower with dual heads, one a rainfall shower head.
Getting to the Hospital from Flatbush Holiday Accommodation
There are three ways to get to the Hospital
- Drive - The Hospital is a short 8 minute drive away
- Walking- Another leisurely way to get to the Hospital is by walking. If the weather is sunny and bright, and you feel well, you could take a stroll along the landscaped walkways in the new subdivision, to Barry Curtis Park, then take a short cut through the park which will bring you out at the Ormiston Hospital Corner. It would take around 20-25 minutes.
- Our FREE drop off service - for guests staying the night before surgery, we offer a free drop off service to the Hospital between 8-9am in the morning.

Guests can enjoy all the privacy of their own space and if needed, use the communal guest kitchen to cook or help themselves to a huge selection of Herbal teas, Robert Harris Coffee and Standard Tea - all of which is unlimited. Most guests may have dietary requirements before an operation and we understand your situation. If you need help with anything as far as kitchen requirements are concerned, we can help. Message us on our Facebook page, or our chat facility, on this site, 24 hours before you arrive, and any special requirements can be ready and waiting for you when you get here.
Some patients like to have a visit from family and that is something we can assist with. There is a separate front lounge for guests to relax in or simply meet other guests before retiring for the night.
Not far from Flatbush Holiday Accommodation there are over 40 food places including coffee shops, a diverse range of restaurants, and great eateries. There is a modern new Pak n Save supermarket, 6 minutes drive away.
We are close to the two major Shopping Centres and Transport Hubs in east and South Auckland being - Botany Town Centre, Westfield Manukau Shopping Centre, The Manukau and Botany Bus Stations and the Manukau Train Station. All of these are within a 10-15 minute drive or take the local bus ( Bus Routes 35 or 355) to either centre.
We are a 20 minute drive to | or from the Auckland Airport. We can organise to pick you up from the Airport if you wish. Just make sure you add this onto your booking, on our website, when your process you booking.
